And once again the year draws to a close and it is time for the "Browser Game of the Year" award. We have pulled out all the stops to find the PBBGs that amazed us the most! But this year is not only packed with spectacular web games it is also the first time this trophy is awarded internationally.

Some people might remember one of our last awards given to German games with an unbelievable response and a huge amount of positive feedback. We could have just leaned back and relaxed - but we did not.
In fact we asked ourselves how to improve the award and came up with a brand new concept.

The idea is to award games in several categories such as "Best Graphics", "Best Gameplay", "Best Strategy Game" or "Best RPG" and obviously in an overall ranking "Browser Game of the Year" and much more. This allows our jury to rate the games on a very differentiated level.

The sequence of events is fairly easy. A choice of the best games published in 2007 will be nominated by Galaxy-News and presented to our international and highly professional judges who will chose their favorites for the particular category.

But there is one thing all of you can participate in: The audience award, one of the most important categories there is, which will only be based on your vote!

The winners of last years' award can not be nominated again - what would you say if Ben Hur would be nominated for an Oscar every year since 1959?

What else to say other than: Stay tuned! We will soon announce the nominees!
