Galaxy-News goes social! - Article

It's been a while since our last update. But our brand new social News Feed is finally here - and it was well worth waiting. Click on your personal Dashboard for all the latest updates, whether it's new articles, a comment by one of your buddies, an event of your favorite MMORPG or a new forum post in one of your groups.

The new updates includes the following main features:

DASHBOARD
Your Dashboard aggregates everything on Galaxy-News for you. The news feed features a personalized list of news stories, activities of your favorite games, updates in your groups, and much more throughout the day. Whenever you log in, you'll automatically get the latest headlines generated by the activity of your Buddies, Favorites and Groups.

FAVORITES
You can add a game to your favorites by following the menu item in the games directory.
Your News Feed will automatically display the latest news, articles and updates of your Favorites, allowing you to stay on top of the games!

GROUPS
Groups are a great opportunity to meet your friends, discuss certain topics and to get to know new people.
Your News Feed will automatically display the latest updates and posts in your groups, so you'll never miss an interesting discussion.

BUDDIES
Make Users and Developers your Buddies to stay in touch with each other and access their profiles quick and easy.
Whenever you log in, you'll automatically get the latest headlines generated by the activity of your Buddies added to your News Feed.

Other tweaks including a huge amount of design fixes will help making it easier and even more fun to browse our website.
