GalaxyNews ID: One Account. All the fun!

All of you are probably familiar with the problem of remembering all the passwords, nick names and more, varying from game to game, making it harder for you to concentrate on what you are looking for: fun! But there is no need to sing the blues anymore as we present the perfect solution: GalaxyNews ID.
How about using just a single account to play all your favorite
games?* GalaxyNews ID will be a huge expension to our current account
system and will be available to all users for free from Mid August. *GalaxyNews ID is based on the
OpenID standard and will provide a great opportunity to all games and websites,
allowing their users to login using an OpenID provider of their choice. More information and a list of available games for the start are soon to be announced in our Galaxy-News ID for Gamers forum. GalaxyNews ID for Developers The advantages of GalaxyNews ID can not be dismissed, even from the
developers point of view. GalaxyNews ID is enableing the players to
gain control over their login thus making it easier for them to start
playing right away. A complicated registration process is no longer
needed, making it even easier for publishers to boost numbers. GalaxyNews ID is based on the proved and tested OpenID standard which is an open, decentralized, free framework for user-centric
digital identity. OpenID takes advantage of already existing internet
technology (URI, HTTP, SSL, Diffie-Hellman) and realizes that people
are already creating identities for themselves whether it be at their
blog, photostream, profile page, etc.
OpenID is still in the adoption phase and is becoming more and more
popular, as large organizations like AOL, Microsoft, Sun, Novell, etc.
begin to accept and provide OpenIDs. Today it is estimated that there
are over 160-million OpenID enabled URIs with nearly ten-thousand sites
supporting OpenID logins.
GalaxyNews ID will be available from Mid August 2008. More
